✧ What 'Abd al-Rahman al-A'raj narrated from Abu Hurayrah

حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرٌو قَالَ: نَا صَفْوَانُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:
مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ يَخْرُجُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ - وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَنْ يَخْرُجُ فِي سَبِيلِهِ - إِلَّا جَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَجُرْحُهُ يَثْعَبُ دَمًا، اللَّوْنُ لَوْنُ دَمٍ وَالرِّيحُ رِيحُ مِسْكٍ.

✧ There is no one who goes out in the path of Allah - and Allah knows best who goes out in His path - but he will come on the Day of Resurrection with his wound gushing blood; the color is the color of blood and the smell is the smell of musk.
