حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْقُطَعِيُّ نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ نَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ صُهْبَانَ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ:
جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَجْعَلُ شَطْرَ صَلَاتِي دُعَاءً لَكَ قَالَ: مَا شِئْتَ قَالَ: فَأَجْعَلُ ثُلُثَيْ صَلَاتِي دُعَاءً لَكَ قَالَ: نَعَمْ. قَالَ: فَأَجْعَلُ صَلَاتِي كُلَّهَا دُعَاءً لَكَ قَالَ: إِذَنْ يَكْفِيكَ اللهُ هَمَّ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ

✧ A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, should I devote half of my prayer to supplication for you?' He said: 'Whatever you wish.' He said: 'Then should I devote two-thirds of my prayer to supplication for you?' He said: 'Yes.' He said: 'Then should I devote all of my prayer to supplication for you?' He said: 'Then Allah will suffice you for the concerns of this world and the Hereafter.'
