✧ You came to us and asked us, so we gave you, and then you said what you said, and in the hearts of my companions there is something against you because of that. So when you come, say before them what you said before me so that it may leave their chests.' He said: 'Yes.' Al-Hakam narrated to me that 'Ikrimah said: Abu Hurayrah said: 'When the Bedouin came, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Your companion came to us and asked us, so we gave him, and he said what he said. We have called him and given him, and he claims that he is satisfied. Is that so?" The Bedouin said: "Yes, may Allah reward you well as family and kin." Abu Hurayrah said: The Prophet ﷺ said: "My example and the example of this Bedouin is like a man who had a she-camel that strayed from him. People chased it but only made it more wild. The owner of the she-camel said to them: 'Leave me alone with my she-camel, for I am gentler with it and more knowledgeable about it.' He went towards it, picked up for it some dust from the ground, and called it until it came and responded. He tightened its saddle and mounted it. If I had obeyed you when he said what he said, he would have entered the Fire." And this hadith, we do not know it to be narrated from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with this wording except through this route with this chain.'
