نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ قَالَ: نَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
لَا تَكْتُبُوا عَنِّي إِلَّا الْقُرْآنَ، فَمَنْ كَتَبَ عَنِّي غَيْرَ الْقُرْآنِ فَلْيَمْحُهُ، وَحَدِّثُوا عَنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَلَا حَرَجَ، وَمَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ
Translation

✧ Do not write from me anything except the Quran, and whoever has written from me anything other than the Quran, let him erase it. And narrate from the Children of Israel, and there is no harm. And whoever deliberately lies about me, let him take his seat in the Fire.
