وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ 8743 حَدَّثَنَاهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ الْقُرَشِيُّ قَالَ:
نَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ مَوْقُوفًا بِمِثْلِهِ، وَهَكَذَا رَوَاهُ أَصْحَابُ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ مَوْقُوفًا. وَرَوَاهُ عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ مَوْقُوفًا
Translation
Chain of narrators
- Muḥammad b. ʿAbd al-Malik al-Qurashī
✧ Hammad b. Zayd narrated to us, from Amr b. Dinar, from Ata' b. Yasar, from Abu Hurayra, as his own statement (mawquf), with the like of it. Thus the companions of Hammad narrated it from Hammad with this chain as mawquf. Abdul-Warith narrated it from Ayyub from Amr b. Dinar from Ata' b. Yasar from Abu Hurayra as mawquf.

machine translationHe was asked about the hadith of Ghundar, from Shuʿbah, from Warqāʾ, from ʿAmr b. Dīnār, from ʿAṭāʾ b. Yasār, from Abū Hurayrah, from the Prophet ﷺ, who said: "When the prayer is called, there is no prayer except the obligatory one." Zakariyyā b. Isḥāq likewise narrated it from ʿAmr b. Dīnār, from ʿAṭāʾ b. Yasār, from Abū Hurayrah, from the Prophet ﷺ. Ibn ʿUyaynah, Ḥammād b. Zayd, Ḥammād b. Salamah and Abān al-ʿAṭṭār all narrated it from ʿAmr b. Dīnār. Ibn ʿUlayyah narrated it from Ayyūb, from ʿAmr b. Dīnār, from ʿAṭāʾ b. Yasār, from Abū Hurayrah as a statement of the Companion (mawqūf). Abū Zurʿah said: The mawqūf version is more authentic (aṣaḥḥ).
