وَحَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ قُرَّةَ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ قَالَ: نَا أَبِي قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
نَحْنُ الْآخِرُونَ السَّابِقُونَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ مِنْ قَبْلِنَا وَأُوتِينَاهُ مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ، وَالْتَمَسُوا يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَهَدَانَا اللهُ لَهَا، فَالنَّاسُ لَنَا تَبَعٌ؛ الْيَهُودُ غَدًا، وَالنَّصَارَى بَعْدَ غَدٍ

✧ We are the last and the foremost on the Day of Resurrection. They were given the Book before us, and we were given it after them. They sought Friday, and Allah guided us to it, so the people follow us in it: the Jews tomorrow, and the Christians the day after tomorrow.
