✧ A woman came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: O Messenger of Allah, I am so-and-so daughter of so-and-so. He said: State your need. She said: My need is that so-and-so proposed to me, so inform me of the right of the husband over the wife. If it is something I can bear, I will marry him; if I cannot bear it, I will not marry. He said: It is part of the right of the husband over the wife that if his nostrils flowed blood and pus and she licked it, she would not have fulfilled his right. And if it were appropriate for any human to prostrate to another human, I would command the woman to prostrate to her husband when he enters upon her. She said: By the One who sent you with the truth, I will never marry as long as I remain in this world.
