حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ قَالَ: نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

مَثَلُ الْمُهَجِّرِ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ كَالْمُهْدِي جَزُورًا، ثُمَّ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ كَالْمُهْدِي بَقَرَةً، ثُمَّ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ كَالْمُهْدِي شَاةً، فَإِذَا جَلَسَ الْإِمَامُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ طُوِيَتِ الصُّحُفُ وَجَلَسُوا يَسْتَمِعُونَ

✧ The likeness of one who goes early to Friday prayer is like one who offers a camel, then the next like one who offers a cow, then the next like one who offers a sheep. Then when the imam sits on the pulpit, the records are rolled up and they sit to listen.
