نَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ قَالَ: نَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأُمَوِيُّ قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ;
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ اسْتَعْمَلَ الْعَلَاءَ بْنَ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ عَلَى الْبَحْرِينِ فَاسْتَتْبَعَهُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، فَاشْتَرَطَ عَلَيْهِ أَنْ يَكُونَ مُؤَذِّنًا وَلَا يَسْبِقَهُ بِآمِينَ
Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ appointed al-ʿAlāʾ b. al-Ḥaḍramī over Bahrain, and he asked Abū Hurayrah to accompany him. He stipulated that he would be a muʾadhdhin and would not precede him in saying 'Āmīn'.
