حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرٌو قَالَ: نَا يَحْيَى قَالَ: نَا ابْنُ عَجْلَانَ قَالَ: نَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ
سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ كَمْ يَكْفِي مِنَ الْغُسْلِ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ ؟ قَالَ: أَفْرِغْ عَلَى رَأْسِكَ ثَلَاثًا قَالَ: إِنَّ شَعَرِي كَثِيرٌ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَكْثَرَ شَعَرًا مِنْكَ وَأَطْيَبَ
Translation

✧ A man asked Abu Hurayrah, 'How much water is enough for the full bath after major ritual impurity?' He said, 'Pour water over your head three times.' He said, 'My hair is abundant.' He said, 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had more hair than you and it was more fragrant.'
