حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ قَالَ: نَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ ثُوَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ:

جَاءَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَعُودُنِي فَقَالَ: أَلَا أَرْقِيكَ بِرُقْيَةٍ رَقَانِي بِهَا جِبْرِيلُ ؟ قُلْتُ: بَلَى بِأَبِي وَأُمِّي فَقَالَ: بِسْمِ اللهِ أَرْقِيكَ، مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ فِيكَ، مِنَ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ came to visit me and said: 'Shall I not perform ruqyah on you with a ruqyah that Jibril performed on me?' I said: 'Yes, may my father and mother be sacrificed for you.' He said: 'In the name of Allah, I perform ruqyah on you, from every disease in you, from the evil of the blowers on knots, and from the evil of an envier when he envies.'
