حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ: نَا مَعْدِيُّ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ: نَا ابْنُ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:
حَسَبُ الْمَرْءِ مَالُهُ، وَكَرَمُهُ تَقْوَاهُ، أَوْ قَالَ: الْحَسَبُ الْمَالُ، وَالْكَرَمُ التَّقْوَى
