حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْقُدُّوسِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْكَبِيرِ قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ قَالَ: نَا أَفْلَحُ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ عَنْ سَلْمَانَ الْأَغَرِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ; أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ:

صَلَاةُ الْجَمَاعَةِ تَعْدِلُ خَمْسًا وَعِشْرِينَ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْفَذِّ، وَصَلَاةٌ فِي مَسْجِدِي هَذَا كَأَلْفِ صَلَاةٍ فِيمَا سِوَاهُ مِنَ الْمَسَاجِدِ إِلَّا الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ - أَحْسَبُهُ قَالَ: - وَلَا يَصْبِرُ عَلَى لَأْوَائِهَا وَشِدَّتِهَا أَحَدٌ - يَعْنِي الْمَدِينَةَ - إِلَّا كُنْتُ لَهُ شَفِيعًا وَشَهِيدًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

✧ The congregational prayer equals twenty-five of the prayer of an individual, and a prayer in this mosque of mine is like a thousand prayers in any other mosque except the Sacred Mosque — I think he said: — and no one patiently endures its hardships and severity — meaning Madinah — except that I will be an intercessor and witness for him on the Day of Resurrection.
