وَحَدَّثَنَا طُلَيْقُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ: نَا يَزِيدُ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

الصِّيَامُ جُنَّةٌ، فَإِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ صَائِمًا فَلَا يَرْفُثْ وَلَا يَجْهَلْ، وَإِنِ امْرُؤٌ شَاتَمَهُ فَلْيَقُلْ إِنِّي امْرُؤٌ صَائِمٌ

Translation

✧ Fasting is a shield. When one of you is fasting, he should not use obscene language or act foolishly. If someone insults him, let him say, "I am a fasting person."
