✧ What Sa'id b. al-Musayyib narrated from Abu Hurayra

وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، قَالَ: نَا الْمُحَارِبِيُّ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

لَا يَزَالُ الدِّينُ ظَاهِرًا مَا عَجَّلُوا النَّاسُ الْفِطْرَ إِنَّ الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى يُؤَخِّرُونَ

Translation

Chain of narrators

  5. Abū Hurayrah
  6. Rasūl Allāh ﷺ

✧ The religion will remain manifest as long as people hasten to break the fast, for the Jews and Christians delay it.
