✧ What Sa'id b. al-Musayyib narrated from Abu Hurayra

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، قَالَ: نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

فُضِّلَتْ نَارُ جَهَنَّمَ عَلَى نَارِكُمْ هَذِهِ بِسِتَّةٍ وَسَبْعِينَ جُزْءًا، أَوْ سِتَّةٍ وَتِسْعِينَ جُزْءًا. قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنْ كَانَتْ لَكَافِيَةً

Translation

✧ The fire of Hell has been favored over this fire of yours by seventy-six parts, or ninety-six parts. They said: O Messenger of God, if it were enough.
