✧ What Sa'id b. al-Musayyib narrated from Abu Hurayra

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ، قَالَ: نَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ، قَالَ: نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَفْصَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

إِنَّ اللهَ تَعَالَى يَضْحَكُ مِنْ رَجُلَيْنِ يَقْتُلُ أَحَدُهُمَا صَاحِبَهُ فَيُدْخِلُهُمَا الْجَنَّةَ. قِيلَ: كَيْفَ يَكُونُ ذَاكَ ؟ قَالَ: يَكُونُ أَحَدُهُمَا كَافِرًا فَيَقْتُلُ الْآخَرَ، ثُمَّ يُسْلِمُ فَيُقْتَلُ

✧ God, Exalted is He, laughs at two men, one of whom kills the other, yet He admits both to Paradise. It was said: 'How can that be?' He said: 'One of them is a disbeliever and kills the other, then he embraces Islam and is killed.'
