✧ What Sa'id b. al-Musayyib narrated from Abu Hurayra

حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

يَتَقَارَبُ الزَّمَانُ وَيُقْبَضُ الْعِلْمُ وَيُلْقَى الشُّحُّ، وَتَظْهَرُ الْفِتَنُ وَيَكْثُرُ الْهَرْجُ، قَالُوا: وَمَا الْهَرْجُ ؟ قَالَ: الْقَتْلُ الْقَتْلُ

Translation

✧ Time will draw close, knowledge will be seized, avarice will be cast, trials will appear, and harj will increase. They said: And what is harj? He said: Killing, killing.
