✧ What Sa'id b. al-Musayyib narrated from Abu Hurayra

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ، قَالَ: نَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي يُونُسُ - يَعْنِي ابْنَ يَزِيدَ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ: قَالَ أَبُو سَلَمَةَ وَسَعِيدٌ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

بَيْنَا رَجُلٌ يَسُوقُ بَقَرَةً لَهُ قَدْ حَمَلَ عَلَيْهَا فَالْتَفَتَتْ إِلَيْهِ الْبَقَرَةُ فَقَالَتْ: إِنِّي لَمْ أُخْلَقْ لِهَذَا، إِنَّمَا خُلِقْتُ لِلْحَرْثِ، قَالَ النَّاسُ: سُبْحَانَ اللهِ !! تَعَجُّبًا: بَقَرَةٌ تَتَكَلَّمُ ؟ ! فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: فَإِنِّي أُؤْمِنُ بِهِ أَنَا وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ

✧ While a man was driving his cow that he had mounted, the cow turned to him and said: 'I was not created for this; I was created for plowing.' The people said: 'Glory be to Allah!' in amazement: 'A cow speaks?!' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'I believe in it, and so do Abu Bakr and Umar.'
