✧ What Sa'id b. al-Musayyib narrated from Abu Hurayra

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ الْحِمْصِيُّ، قَالَ: نَا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ سُوَيْدٍ، قَالَ: نَا يُونُسُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيِّبِ وَأَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ:

إِذَا أَمَّنَ الْقَارِئُ فَأَمِّنُوا فَإِنَّ الْإِمَامَ يَقُولُ: آمِينَ، وَتَقُولُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ آمِينَ، فَمَنْ وَافَقَ تَأْمِينُهُ تَأْمِينَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ

✧ When the reciter says 'Amin', say 'Amin', for the imam says 'Amin' and the angels say 'Amin'. Whoever's saying of 'Amin' coincides with that of the angels, his past sins will be forgiven.
