✧ I was with the Prophet ﷺ, and he used to pass by his wives. He came to a woman with whom he had recently consummated marriage, and there were people with her. The Prophet ﷺ left, stayed away, and relieved himself. Then he came back after they had left. He said: He entered and let down a curtain between me and him. He said: I went to Abu Talhah—I think he said—and informed him. He said: If it is as you say, something will surely be revealed about this. Then the verse of the hijab was revealed.
