✧ A group of people from 'Uraynah came to the Messenger of God ﷺ, embraced Islam, and pledged allegiance to him. An epidemic—I think he said—had broken out in Madinah. They said, 'The epidemic has broken out in Madinah. If you would permit us, we would go out to the camels and stay among them.' So they went out, killed the shepherd, and took the camels away. With him were some young men of the Ansar, about twenty. The Prophet ﷺ sent them after them, and he sent with them a tracker to follow their traces. They were brought to him, and he cut off their hands and feet and put out their eyes.
