Translation
✧ Muhammad b. Ma’mar narrated it to us, from Abu Dawud, from Talhah b. ‘Amr, from Thabit, from Anas, similar to the hadith of ‘Ali b. Zayd. We do not know of ‘Ata’ narrating from Thabit from Anas except this hadith, nor did anyone narrate it from Ibn Jurayj except Abu Safwan. He was a man among those who resided in Makkah, and there is no harm in him. We do not know anyone who narrated this version except Anas, and it has been narrated from Anas through multiple channels, but it is contradicted by the hadith of Buraydah in which he said: “Between every two calls to prayer there is a prayer, except Maghrib.”
