وَبِهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْأَنْصَارِ وَلِأَبْنَاءِ الْأَنْصَارِ الْأَنْصَارُ كَرِشِي وَعَيْبَتِي، وَلَوْ أَخَذَ النَّاسُ - أَحْسَبُهُ قَالَ - شِعْبًا، وَأَخَذَتِ الْأَنْصَارُ شِعْبًا، لَأَخَذْتُ شِعْبَهُمْ وَلَوْلَا الْهِجْرَةُ لَكُنْتُ امْرَءًا مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ
Translation
Chain of narrators
- Rasūl Allāh ﷺ
✧ O Allah, forgive the Ansar and the children of the Ansar. The Ansar are my inner circle and my trusted confidants. If the people were to take one path—I think he said—and the Ansar another, I would take the path of the Ansar. Were it not for the Hijrah, I would have been a man of the Ansar.
