✧ Paradise and the Fire were shown to me, and I have never seen good and evil as I have today. If you knew what I know, you would laugh little and weep much. A man stood up and said: O Messenger of God, who is my father? He said: Your father is so-and-so. Umar ؓ stood up and said: We are content with God as Lord, with Islam as religion, and with Muhammad as Prophet. He said: And this verse was revealed: 'O you who believe, do not ask about things which, if they are shown to you, will distress you.'
