وَنَا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ، نَا آدَمُ بْنُ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ:

ذُكِرَ مَالِكُ بْنُ الدُّخْشُمِ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَوَقَعُوا فِيهِ فَقَالُوا: إِنَّهُ رَأْسُ الْمُنَافِقِينَ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: دَعُوا لِي أَصْحَابِي لَا تَسُبُّوا أَصْحَابِي

Translation

✧ Malik b. al-Dukhshum was mentioned before the Prophet ﷺ, and they spoke ill of him, saying, "He is the head of the hypocrites." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Leave my companions alone; do not revile my companions."
