حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، نَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ:
أَلَا أُحَدِّثُكُمْ حَدِيثًا سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يُحَدِّثُكُمْ أَحَدٌ بَعْدِي سَمِعَهُ مِنْهُ ؟ إِنَّ مِنْ أَشْرَاطِ السَّاعَةِ: أَنْ يُرْفَعَ الْعِلْمُ، وَيَظْهَرَ الْجَهْلُ، وَيَفْشُوَ الزِّنَا، وَيُشْرَبَ الْخَمْرُ، وَيَذْهَبَ الرِّجَالُ، وَيَبْقَى النِّسَاءُ، حَتَّى يَكُونَ لِخَمْسِينَ امْرَأَةً قَيِّمٌ وَاحِدٌ

✧ Shall I not tell you a hadith that I heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, which no one after me will tell you having heard it from him? Among the signs of the Hour are: knowledge will be removed, ignorance will appear, fornication will spread, wine will be drunk, men will pass away, and women will remain until one man is in charge of fifty women.
