✧ When we returned from al-Hudaybiyyah, having been prevented from completing our rites, we were between grief and despondency. Then Allah, exalted is He, revealed: "Indeed, We have granted you a clear conquest, that Allah may forgive you your past and future sins, and complete His favor upon you, and guide you to a straight path" (Quran 48:1-2), or as Allah willed. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "A verse has been revealed to me that is dearer to me than the whole world."
