حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، نَا أَبُو قُتَيْبَةَ، نَا سُهَيْلُ بْنُ أَبِي حَزْمٍ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ:

قَرَأَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ: الَّذِينَ قَالُوا رَبُّنَا اللهُ ثُمَّ اسْتَقَامُوا قَالَ: قَدْ قَالَهَا النَّاسُ، ثُمَّ كَفَرَ أَكْثَرُهُمْ، فَمَنْ قَالَهَا حَتَّى يَمُوتَ عَلَيْهَا فَهُوَ مِمَّنِ اسْتَقَامَ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ recited this verse: “Those who say, ‘Our Lord is God,’ and then remain steadfast” (41:30). He said: “People have said it, then most of them disbelieved. Whoever says it until he dies upon it is among those who remain steadfast.”
