حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، نَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ;

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ مَرَّ بِمَقْبَرَةٍ، فَسَمِعَ صَوْتًا مِنْ قَبْرٍ، فَقَالَ: لَوْلَا أَنْ لَا تَدَافَنُوا، لَأَسْمَعْتُكُمْ صَوْتَ هَذَا الْقَبْرِ، أَوْ صَوْتَ الَّذِي فِي الْقَبْرِ

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ passed by a graveyard and heard a voice from a grave. He said: "Were it not that you would not bury one another, I would have made you hear the voice of this grave, or the voice of the one in the grave."
