حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْبُخَارِيُّ وَرَوْحُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، قَالَا: نَا الصَّلْتُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْخَارَكِيُّ، نَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، وَعَنْ سِنَانٍ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ، وَعَنِ الْجَعْدِ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ;

✧ His mother took a mudd of barley, ground it and milled it, and took a small skin of ghee and squeezed it. Then she sent me to the Prophet ﷺ and I came to him while he was among his companions and invited him. He said: And those with me? I went, meaning to Abu Talhah, and said: He said to me: And those with me? He said: Abu Talhah went out and said: O Messenger of God, it is only something Umm Sulaym prepared. He said: Bring it to me. He placed his hand over it, or the place where his hand was in it, and said: Admit ten for me. They ate until they were full. Then he said: Admit ten for me. They ate, until he counted forty. Then the Messenger of God ﷺ ate and stood up. I began to look and found that nothing had decreased from it.
