حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَرْزُوقِ بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ، نَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ، بَصْرِيٌّ، نَا صَالِحٌ الْمُرِّيُّ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ;

أَنَّ سَائِلًا جَاءَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَأَعْطَاهُ تَمْرَةً، فَقَالَ: نَبِيٌّ يُعْطِي تَمْرَةً ! وَانْصَرَفَ، ثُمَّ جَاءَ آخَرُ فَسَأَلَ، فَأَرْسَلَ، فَجِيءَ بِتَمْرَةٍ، فَأَعْطَاهُ تَمْرَةً فَقَالَ: تَمْرَةٌ مِنْ نَبِيٍّ كَثِيرٌ. وَاللهِ لَا تُفَارِقُنِي أَبَدًا مَا عِشْتُ

Translation

✧ A beggar came to the Prophet ﷺ and he gave him a date. He said: "A prophet gives a date!" and left. Then another came and asked, so he sent for some, and a date was brought, and he gave him a date. He said: "A date from a prophet is much. By God, it will never leave me as long as I live."
