✧ The Basrans from Anas

وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ ; قَالَ:
كَانَ صَبِيٌّ عَلَى ظَهْرِ الطَّرِيقِ، فَمَرَّ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَمَعَهُ نَاسٌ، فَلَمَّا رَأَتْ أُمُّ الصَّبِيِّ الْقَوْمَ خَشِيَتْ أَنْ يُوطَأَ ابْنُهَا، فَسَعَتْ فَحَمَلَتْهُ وَقَالَتِ: ابْنِي ابْنِي، فَقَالَ الْقَوْمُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا كَانَتْ هَذِهِ لِتُلْقِيَ ابْنَهَا فِي النَّارِ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: وَلَا اللهُ، وَلَا يُلْقِي حَبِيبَهُ فِي النَّارِ.
Translation
✧ There was a small boy on the edge of the road. The Prophet ﷺ passed by with some people. When the boy's mother saw the group, she feared her son would be trampled, so she ran and carried him, saying, "My son, my son!" The people said, "O Messenger of Allah, this woman would never throw her son into the Fire." The Prophet ﷺ said, "No, by Allah, and He will not throw His beloved into the Fire."
