✧ I heard Ali adjuring the people, saying: I adjure any Muslim man who heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the day of Ghadir Khumm to stand. So twelve men stood and said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took Ali by the hand, then said: O people, am I not more entitled to the believers than their own selves? They said: Yes, O Messenger of Allah. He said: O Allah, whoever I am his mawla, then this is his mawla. O Allah, befriend whoever befriends him, and be hostile to whoever is hostile to him.
