✧ Umm Sulaym had an orphan girl. The Messenger of God ﷺ saw the orphan girl and said: "You have grown up; may your age not increase." The orphan girl returned to Umm Sulaym crying. Umm Sulaym said: "What is the matter with you, my dear daughter?" She said: "The Messenger of God ﷺ prayed against me that my age not increase." Umm Sulaym went out until she met the Messenger of God ﷺ. The Messenger of God ﷺ said to her: "What is the matter with you, O Umm Sulaym?" She said: "O Messenger of God, you prayed against my orphan girl that her age not increase." He said: The Messenger of God ﷺ laughed, then said: "O Umm Sulaym, do you not know my condition with my Lord, Mighty and Majestic? I made a condition with my Lord, and I said: I am only a human; I am pleased as humans are pleased and I become angry as humans become angry. Any person of my Ummah against whom I supplicate with a supplication that he does not deserve, then make it a purification, an increase, and a means of nearness by which You bring him near on the Day of Resurrection."
