✧ I entered upon Abu Abd al-Rahman al-Sulami after he had prayed the morning prayer while he was sitting in the mosque. I said to him, "If you got up, meaning to your bed, it would be more comfortable for you." He said, "I heard Ali say: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'Whoever prays the morning prayer then remains seated in his place of prayer, the angels send blessings upon him, and their blessings upon him are: O Allah, forgive him; O Allah, have mercy on him. And whoever waits for the prayer, the angels send blessings upon him, and their blessings upon him are: O Allah, forgive him; O Allah, have mercy on him.'"
