حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بَزِيعٍ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ، نَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
صَلَاةُ الْمُنَافِقِ يَجْلِسُ يَنْتَظِرُ الشَّمْسَ حَتَّى إِذَا اصْفَرَّتْ وَكَانَتْ عَلَى قَرْنَيِ الشَّيْطَانِ، أَوْ بَيْنَ قَرْنَيِ الشَّيْطَانِ، قَامَ فَنَقَرَ أَرْبَعًا لَا يَذْكُرُ اللهَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا.

✧ The prayer of the hypocrite: he sits waiting for the sun until it turns yellow and is on the horns of Satan, or between the horns of Satan, then he stands and pecks out four [rak'ahs], not remembering Allah except a little.
