حَدَّثَنَا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ، نَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نَافِعٍ، نَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْعُمَرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

أَنَا أَوَّلُ مَنْ تَنْشَقُّ عَنْهُ الْأَرْضُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ثُمَّ أَبُو بَكْرٍ ثُمَّ عُمَرُ، ثُمَّ آتِي الْبَقِيعَ فَيُحْشَرُوا مَعِي، ثُمَّ أَنْتَظِرُ أَهْلَ مَكَّةَ حَتَّى أُحْشَرَ بَيْنَ الْحَرَمَيْنِ. أَوْ بَيْنَ أَهْلِ الْحَرَمَيْنِ.

✧ I am the first over whom the earth will split open on the Day of Resurrection, then Abu Bakr, then Umar. Then I will come to al-Baqi‘ and they will be gathered with me. Then I will wait for the people of Makkah until I am gathered between the two Harams — or between the people of the two Harams.
