✧ From the hadith of Salim from b. Umar

وَبِهِ قَالَ:

إِنَّ أَمْرَكَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَنَهْيَكَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ يُكْتَبُ لَكَ بِهِ صَدَقَةٌ، وَإِمَاطَتَكَ الْأَذَى عَنِ الطَّرِيقِ يُكْتَبُ لَكَ بِهِ صَدَقَةٌ، وَإِرْشَادَكَ الضَّالَّ يُكْتَبُ لَكَ بِهِ صَدَقَةٌ

Translation

✧ Your enjoining good and forbidding evil is recorded for you as charity, and your removing harm from the road is recorded for you as charity, and your guiding a lost person is recorded for you as charity.
