حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مِرْدَاسٍ، نَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَهُ عَنْ صَلَاةِ اللَّيْلِ فَقَالَ: رَكْعَتَانِ رَكْعَتَانِ، ثُمَّ وَاحِدَةٌ

Translation

Chain of narrators

  2. Sulaymān b. Muslim
  3. Sulaymān al-Taymī
  4. Nāfiʿ
  5. Ibn ʿUmar
  6. al-Nabī ﷺ

✧ That a man asked him about the night prayer, so he said: Two rak'ahs by two rak'ahs, then one.
