حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْحَرَشِيُّ، نَا زِيَادُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ:
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أُتِيَ بِالنُّعَيْمَانِ قَدْ شَرِبَ الْخَمْرَ ثَلَاثًا فَأَمَرَ بِضَرْبِهِ، فَلَمَّا كَانَ فِي الرَّابِعَةِ أُتِيَ بِهِ قَدْ شَرِبَ فَأُمِرَ بِهِ فَجُلِدَ، فَكَانَ ذَلِكَ نَاسِخًا لِلْقَتْلِ
Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ was brought al-Nu'ayman who had drunk wine three times, so he ordered him to be beaten. When it was the fourth time, he was brought having drunk, so he was ordered and was flogged. Thus that abrogated the killing.
