حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، قَالَ: نَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ بْنِ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي قَيْسٍ الْأَوْدِيِّ، عَنْ سُوَيْدِ بْنِ غَفَلَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ؓ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ:

" يَخْرُجُ قَوْمٌ فِي آخِرِ الزَّمَانِ يَقْرَءُونَ الْقُرْآنَ لَا يُجَاوِزُ تَرَاقِيَهُمْ، يَمْرُقُونَ مِنَ الدِّينِ كَمَا يَمْرُقُ السَّهْمُ مِنَ الرَّمِيَّةِ، قِتَالُهُمْ حَقٌّ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ

✧ "A people will emerge at the end of time who recite the Qurʾān, but it will not pass beyond their collarbones. They will pass out of the religion as an arrow passes through the game. Fighting them is a duty upon every Muslim."
