✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned from the battle of Uhud, he heard the women of the Ansar weeping. He said: “But Hamzah has no women to weep for him.” That reached the Ansar, so their women came and wept over him. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood up when he heard their voices and said: “Woe to them! They have not ceased weeping since. Tell them to return to their homes and not weep for anyone who dies after today.”
