وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ وَالْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَا: نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، نَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ مُوسَى، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى بِإِحْدَى الطَّائِفَتَيْنِ رَكْعَةً وَسَجْدَتَيْنِ، وَالطَّائِفَةُ الْأُخْرَى مُوَاجِهَةُ الْعَدُوِّ، وَانْصَرَفَتِ الطَّائِفَةُ الَّتِي كَانَتْ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَجَاءَتِ الطَّائِفَةُ الْأُخْرَى فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ رَكْعَةً وَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ، وَقَامَ كُلُّ وَاحِدَةٍ مِنَ الطَّائِفَتَيْنِ فَصَلَّتْ لِنَفْسِهَا رَكْعَةً وَسَجْدَتَيْنِ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed with one of the two groups one rak'ah and two prostrations, while the other group faced the enemy. The group that had been with the Prophet ﷺ departed, and the other group came, so he prayed with them one rak'ah and two prostrations, then said the salam. Then each of the two groups stood and prayed for themselves one rak'ah and two prostrations.
