وَنَاهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ، نَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ، نَا أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ:
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ اتَّخَذَ خَاتَمًا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ، فَلَبِسَهُ فِي يَمِينِهِ وَفَصُّهُ مِنْ دَاخِلٍ، فَتَخَتَّمَ النَّاسُ بِالذَّهَبِ، قَالَ: فَصَعِدَ الْمِنْبَرَ فَرَمَى بِهِ، وَنَهَى عَنْ تَخَتُّمِ الذَّهَبِ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ adopted a gold ring, wore it on his right hand with its stone facing inward, and the people wore gold rings. He said: He ascended the pulpit, threw it away, and forbade wearing gold rings.
