Musnad al-Bazzar 5712

وَنَا عُبَيْدٌ، نَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ. وَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، نَا يَحْيَى، ذَكَرَاهُ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ

بِأَنَّهُ رَأَى نُخَامَةً فِي الْقِبْلَةِ فَحَتَّهَا، ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ عَلَى النَّاسِ فَقَالَ: إِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَلَا يَتَنَخَّمَنَّ قِبَلَ وَجْهِهِ، فَإِنَّ اللهَ قِبَلَ وَجْهِ أَحَدِكُمْ إِذَا كَانَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ

✧ He saw some sputum in the direction of the qiblah, so he scraped it off. Then he turned to the people and said: 'When one of you is in prayer, let him not spit in front of his face, for Allah is in front of the face of one of you when he is in prayer.'
