✧ I divorced my wife while she was menstruating during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Umar went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: 'Abdullah has divorced his wife while she is menstruating.' He said: 'Command him to take her back until she becomes pure, then menstruates, then becomes pure. Then if he wishes, he may divorce her before having intercourse with her, and if he wishes, he may keep her. That is the waiting period which Allah has commanded.'
