حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ رَوْحٍ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ:

مَنْ عَتَقَ شِرْكًا لَهُ فِي عَبْدٍ فَكَانَ لَهُ مَا يَبْلُغُ ثَمَنَ الْعَبْدِ قُوِّمَ قِيمَةَ عَدْلٍ، ثُمَّ أَعْطَى شُرَكَاءَهُ حِصَّتَهُمْ- عَتَقَ عَلَيْهِ، وَإِلَّا فَقَدْ عَتَقَ مِنْهُ مَا عَتَقَ

Translation

✧ Whoever frees a share he owns in a slave, and he has wealth reaching the slave's price, the slave is valued at a fair price, then he pays his partners their shares—the slave becomes completely free from him; otherwise, only what he freed is freed.
