وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، نَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ:

كَانَ أَهْلُ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ يَبِيعُونَ لَحْمَ الْجَزُورِ إِلَى حَبَلِ الْحَبَلَةِ. وَحَبَلُ الْحَبَلَةِ: أَنْ تُنْتَجَ النَّاقَةُ مَا فِي بَطْنِهَا ثُمَّ تَحْمِلُ. فَنَهَاهُمْ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

Translation

✧ The people of the pre-Islamic era used to sell the meat of a slaughtered camel until the offspring of the offspring. And the offspring of the offspring means that the she-camel gives birth to what is in her belly, then she becomes pregnant. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade them from that.
