حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، نَا يَحْيَى وَعَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:

إِنَّ الْمُتَبَايِعَيْنِ بِالْخِيَارِ فِي بَيْعِهِمَا حَتَّى يَتَفَرَّقَا إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ الْبَيْعُ خِيَارًا. قَالَ نَافِعٌ: فَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ إِذَا اشْتَرَى شَيْئًا يُعْجِبُهُ فَارَقَ صَاحِبَهُ

Translation

✧ Indeed, the two parties to a transaction have the option (khiyar) in their sale as long as they have not separated, unless the sale is based on option. Nafi' said: When Ibn 'Umar bought something that pleased him, he would separate from his companion.
